¹⁵ The man went and reported to the Jews that Jesus was the one who made him well. ¹⁶ And on account of this the Jews began to persecute^[a] Jesus, because he was doing these things on the Sabbath. ¹⁷ But he answered^[b] them, “My Father is working until now, and I am working.”
